Yamaha Motor

Yamaha Motor Company Limited is a Japanese manufacturer of motorcycles, marine products such as boats and outboard motors, and other motorized products. The company was established in 1955 upon separation from Yamaha Corporation, and is headquartered in Iwata, Shizuoka, Japan.

Yamaha entered Indian market through a joint venture. Sixteen years later in 2001, Yamaha became a fully owned subsidiary of Yamaha Motor Co, Ltd and in 2008, it again formed a joint venture with Mitsui & Co., Ltd. India Yamaha Motor Private Limited (IYM), has three manufacturing units in India located at Surajpur in Uttar Pradesh, Faridabad in Haryana and Kanchipuram in Tamil Nadu.

Yamaha India offers a total of 17 bikes. These consist of 3 Yamaha upcoming bikes and 14 new Yamaha bikes in India. The list of Yamaha bike models in the country comprises 8 sports bikes, 6 scooter . Yamaha YZF R15 V3:

The R15 V3 has a price tag of Rs. 1.46 lakh. The R15 V3 is a powered by 155cc engine mated to a 6 is speed gearbox . This engine of R15 V3 develops a power of 18.6 ps @ 10000 rpm and a torque of 14.1 nm @ 8500 rpm. The Yamaha YZF R15 V3 gets disc brakes in the front and rear. The Yamaha YZF R15 V3 weighs 142 kg and has a fuel tank capacity of 11 liters. The Yamaha YZF R15 V3 is offered in 3 colours: Racing Blue, Thunder Grey and Dark Knight.

Yamaha MT 15:

The M15 has a price tag of Rs.  1.39  lakh. The  M15 is a powered by 155cc engine mated to a 6 is speed gearbox . This engine of M15 develops a power of 18.6 ps @ 10000 rpm and a torque of 14.1 nm @ 8500 rpm. The Yamaha YZF M15 has single-channel ABS as standard; no signs of a dual-channel variant in the offing.. The Yamaha YZF M15   has a fuel tank capacity of 10 liters. The Yamaha MT15 comes in a single variant with three colour options: black, blue and red.

Yamaha FZS-FI V3:

The FZS-FI V3 has a price tag of Rs. 1.02 lakh. The  FZS-FI is a powered by 149cc engine mated to a 5 is speed gearbox . This engine of  FZS-FI develops a power of 12.4 ps @ 7250 rpm and a torque of 12.8 nm @ 6000rpm. The Yamaha  FZS-FI  gets disc brake in the front . The Yamaha  FZS-FI  has a  13L fuel tank capacity of 11 liters. The Yamaha  FZS-FI V3 comes in a single variant with five colour options: black, mettallic  red, Matt blue, Matt black,  Grey cyan .
